Ukrainian authorities have declared the commencement of large-scale manufacturing for an innovative locally engineered defensive UAV to strengthen its air defences. The first three manufacturers have begun production, with 11 more getting ready to set up production lines, Ukrainian military officials announced this past Friday.

Advanced 'Octopus' System Proven in Combat Conditions

The drones utilize a nationally created technology called “Octopus” designed to intercept Iranian-made drones. The system has been tested in actual battle and proved successful “during nighttime, amid electronic warfare and flying low,” officials stated.
